Smoke + Ash is growing with a strategic expansion next door, into 13 Greenfield Crescent, doubling its size in Edgbaston Village, part of the Calthorpe Estate.

Since opening its doors nearly two years ago, Smoke + Ash has quickly established itself as a go-to spot for authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, complemented by a carefully selected wine list and innovative, seasonal twists on classic cocktails. The expansion into the neighbouring property is a clear testament to the restaurant’s success and growing popularity among locals and visitors alike.

Paul Collins, Owner of Smoke + Ash, shared his thoughts on the expansion and what it means for the future of the restaurant:

‘Since we opened, we’ve struggled to cope with the demand for tables, especially at the weekend. The expansion will allow us to add extra seats for diners, as well as a lounge space for guests to relax and spend a little longer enjoying our cocktails and wine offering.”

The expansion will further enhance the dining scene in Edgbaston Village, aligning with Calthorpe Estates’ vision for a thriving leisure and lifestyle destination in the heart of Edgbaston.

Tom Foley, Asset Manager at Calthorpe Estates, commented on the expansion: “We have worked closely with Smoke + Ash since they moved into Edgbaston Village just under two years ago, and it is a real testament to their hard work and innovative approach to see them go from strength to strength in such a short space of time.

“This is a particularly impressive feat considering the tough economic climate that has seen numerous closures up and down the high street, so it’s great to see them doubling their footprint here in the heart of Edgbaston Village.”
