Calthorpe Estates is proud to announce its support for Birmingham Hospice’s big art trail “Bulls in the City” in partnership with Wild in Art. This public art trail will feature a herd of artist-designed bull sculptures installed throughout the city, raising essential funds and awareness for Birmingham Hospice’s vital work across the region.
Set to be one of the city’s most anticipated summer events, “Bulls in the City” will showcase the talents of local artists, each creating unique designs for life-sized bull sculptures. The funds raised through this initiative will directly benefit Birmingham Hospice, which provides high-quality, compassionate end of life care and support to thousands of local people and their families each year.
Haydn Cooper, Chief Executive of Calthorpe Estates, expressed his excitement for the collaboration: “We are thrilled to partner with Birmingham Hospice on Bulls in the City next year. This project beautifully combines art and community and will help bring new audiences to Edgbaston to experience everything we have to offer, all whilst raising awareness for a fantastic local cause. We can’t wait to see the community come together for a memorable summer that will help support the essential work of Birmingham Hospice.”
Rebecca Richards, Bulls in the City Project Lead from Birmingham Hospice, added: “It’s great to have organisations like Calthorpe Estates join this project. Initiatives like Bulls in the City greatly contribute to our fundraising efforts for Birmingham Hospice, enabling us to care for more people who need our support. We can’t wait to see the herd of 40 fibreglass bulls come to life next summer with the support of local organisations like Calthorpe Estates!”
