King Edward’s School, one of the country’s most successful independents, was founded in 1552 and among its diverse alumni it numbers two Nobel Prize winners, JRR Tolkien and Bill Oddie. King Edward’s shares its 50-acre site with the King Edward VI High School for Girls, which has delivered equally stellar results since 1883.

Calthorpe Estates recently worked with the college to extend its classroom space and deliver more flexible working space for students and staff members.
